Standing in Solidarity at London Bridge

Bishop John Sherrington, representing Cardinal Vincent Nichols, joined 100 imams for a vigil by London Bridge to remember those who died in the terrorist atrocity last weekend and to stand in solidarity with Muslims, Christians and Jews as they condemn all violence and declare that love will ultimately triumph over hatred.

Archbishop of Southwark speaks after vigil for the victims of the London Bridge attack

Archbishop Peter Smith, the Catholic Archbishop of Southwark, spoke to us having attended the vigil held for the victims of the London Bridge and Borough Market attack carried out on Saturday night, 3 June 2017. Thousands gathered this evening, Monday 5 June, for a 6pm vigil in Potters Fields Park on the bank of the river Thames. Archbishop Smith offered this reflection and prayer afterwards.
