The Birmingham Faith Leaders’ Group joins with the great majority of people across the world in condemning the attack which took place on Westminster Bridge and in the environs of the Palace of Westminster on 22 March. Many times in recent years we have, tragically, found it necessary to issue condemnations of such action both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Cardinal Patrick D'Rozario - Bangladesh's first Catholic Cardinal

The English Bishop with a diocese ten times the size of Britain

Pope Francis has appointed an English missionary to be bishop of a diocese that covers 2,000,000 kms2 in Algeria. Bishop-elect John MacWilliam is originally from Wimbledon and was educated in Sussex. He joined the British Army and saw active service in Northern Ireland and Oman before joining the Missionaries of Africa (known as the White Fathers).
